Force Friday II is upon us. Today, September 1, is the day that all of the new Star Wars merchandise comes out in preparation for the upcoming 8th installment of the Star Wars saga, The Last Jedi. There is an enormous amount of merchandise coming out, but I will focus on the new LEGO Star Wars sets and a few other notable Deals.
LEGO Star Wars Assault on Hoth 75098 Star Wars Toy (2144 pieces). This set features many vignettes together in one large set and is great for those who haven’t collected the previous Hoth sets.
The LEGO Star Wars First Order Star Destroyer 75190 Building Kit . At 1416 pieces, this is the largest non-UCS Star Destroyer released. The set includes 5 minifigures: Supreme Leader Snoke, First Order Officer, First Order Stormtrooper Sergeant, First Order Stormtrooper and First Order Shuttle Pilot, BB-9E and buildable Medical Droid figures
LEGO Star Wars First Order Heavy Assault Walker 75189 Building Kit (1376 Piece). The heavily modified version of the older AT-AT walker includes 5 minifigures: Captain Poe Dameron, Rey, a Resistance Trooper, First Order Walker Driver and a First Order Stormtrooper.
LEGO Star Wars Resistance Bomber 75188 Building Kit (778 Piece). The set includes 5 minifigures: Poe Dameron, Vice Admiral Holdo, Resistance Gunner Paige, a Resistance Bomber Pilot and a Resistance Bombardier.
LEGO Star Wars BB-8 UCS 75187 Building Kit (1106 Piece). This is my most anticipated set of the September 1st releases! BB8 is scaled nicely with the 10225 LEGO R2-D2 model which was out a few years ago and includes some playability features.
LEGO Star Wars Kylo Ren’s Tie Fighter 75179 Building Kit (630 Piece). The set includes 3 minifigures: Kylo Ren, a First Order TIE Pilot and a First Order Stormtrooper, plus a BB-9E figure.
LEGO Star Wars First Order Heavy Scout Walker 75177 Building Kit (554 Piece). The set includes 4 minifigures: General Hux, a First Order Gunner, Resistance Trooper and a First Order Flametrooper.
