LEGO accidently confirms the New/Updated Ultimate Collectors Series UCS Millennium Falcon! September 14 Release Date for VIP Members

You’ve likely seen some Rumors on a new/updated UCS Millennium Falcon previously. Well, LEGO has accidently/unofficially/unintentionally revealed it, see pictures below in the article! I have written two articles on the rumors from early this year, which I will summarize some of the rumored info in this post as well.

Here are the details I have gathered from the rumors on the UCS Millennium Falcon, the only major update is the official announcement date and VIP early access. All other details have yet to be confirmed or announced including piece count and pricing.

    • Release date in October.  (Same)*

*Official announcement will come on September 1. Vip early release September 14 with official release October 1.*

  • Set number 75192
  • MSRP $600  $799.00 USD  or higher (It could possibly will likely dethrone LEGO set 10189 Taj Mahal 5922 pieces as the largest LEGO set of all time, though with typically higher price per piece count on Star Wars sets this would seem unlikely at $600 ).
  • It would come with the pieces and minifigs to be able to switch between an Empire Strikes Back(ESB) Falcon or The Force Awakens(TFA) Falcon. (Same)
  • It will include 2 different types of radar dishes.  The original Round dish and the rectangular shaped dish from TFA. (Same)
  • Minifigs: ESB Han & Leia, C3PO, Chewbacca, Rey, Finn, BB8 and TFA Han. (Same)
  • A detailed interior which was not included in the original LEGO Ultimate Collector Series Millennium Falcon.    This seems highly likely with the $800 price tag.

LEGO has posted a few teasers online through the web and social media that they had a huge secretive set coming out soon.

On Brickset, LEGO Designer Hans Burkhard Schlömer posted some comments on sets he has been working on. This one drew the most attention.

LEGO posted a pic with the new London Bus and next to it a new set wrapped in white LEGO paper which is 20,000 cm3 4.86x bigger than the London Bus box size.

After seeing the first image, I noticed some individuals running the photo through Photoshop and claiming they could see the outline of the Millennium Falcon. Skeptical, I tried myself and could re-create what they noticed. See the next pic, which flips the image as the box was wrapped upside down, it shows the LEGO logo clearly and you can make out the cone shaped cockpit of the Falcon as well as the forward mandibles.

If you are having trouble seeing the outline, I crudely cut out a picture of the previous UCS Millennium Falcon with a modified Sensor as a reference for what the cover image direction and orientation of the ship will look like. It may also help you see the features on the previous image.

LEGO responded to a tweet from someone looking to get the Saturn V but said they might be able to get something “Milleniumly Falconish” First.

LEGO also posted a pic with the London Bus Manual and a white wrapped manual which is 2.86x bigger. The London Bus manual is 196 pages and this would indicate that the other Manual will be just shy of 500 pages!
